Lebusa urges Ajax fans to remain patient

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town defender Mosa Lebusa says there is no reason for fans to panic at this stage of the season despite a winless start to the new campaign.

After five games, the Urban Warriors have tasted defeat twice and drawn three times, with striker Nathan Paulse the only scorer this far - with three to his name.

Now, with the towering striker out injured after sustaining a fractured cheekbone in their latest 2-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs, the Urban Warriors look in dire need for someone to step up help the side move up the table.

"I think we don't have to start to press the panic button, there's still a lot of games to play," the academy graduate told KickOff.

"I think we create chances and we just need to put them in the back of the net and I think that is one thing we really need to look into.

"The coach can only do his part and we as players need to step up. So I think as players we need work hard. But as I have said, it's still early and we just need to go back to the drawing board."
