Leal takes positives from loss

Cape Town - Polokwane City coach Julio Leal drew some positives from the 3-1 hammering at the hands of against Mamelodi Sundowns.

City suffered their 13th loss of the season against the table-topping Sundowns following two goals from Leonardo Castro and one from Keagan Dolly.

Leal wants his players to do a better job of defending as a team against Chippa United on Saturday.

"It was a good game, but the result was terrible. Our performance was good in the first half despite having conceded, and then we conceded a second goal as we advanced our lines against the leaders of the championship," Leal told KickOff.

"We scored one, and the team was creating opportunities, but then came the red card and we were one short."

Leal says that his side usually scores when their opponents scores but says sometimes in crucial moments the "right solution" doesn't seem to show up.

Meanwhile, City face Chippa United at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 15:00.
