Cape Town - Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen has indicated that he would love to sign Kagisho Dikgacoi but admits the decision is not his to make.
The former Cardiff City midfielder, who is a free agent, has been training with Arrows for the past month.
The 31-year-old former Bafana Bafana midfielder left Arrows back in 2009 to join Fulham in England.
The stumbling block for Arrows could be the affordability of paying his wages after his spell abroad where he earned thousands of pounds per week in England.
"KG is doing well. He is still working on his conditioning. He still has a long way to go in terms of his fitness. He asked to train with us and we are trying to help him," Larsen told KickOff.
"The question of whether we can sign him or not, you may never know. I always say such kinds of questions can be directed to our chairlady."
Meanwhile, Larsen's charges will face Chippa United on Saturday as the Premiership returns.
Kick-off is at 15:30.
