Cape Town - Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen has remained coy on whether the club would sign former Ajax Cape Town midfielder Ruzaigh Gamildien.
The media has reported that Abafana Bes'thende are interested in the 27-year-old, but Larsen claims no final decision has been made.
Arrows need to rebuild their squad following a mass exodus of loan players including Mwape Musonda, Philani Zikalala, Gladwin Shitolo, Ryan Chapman and Rodney Ramagalela.
Gamildien is looking for a new home after being released by the Urban Warriors.
"I did speak to the player but I cannot confirm that he will be joining the club right now," Larson told Goal website.
"I actually spoke to him a while ago, when the season had just finished to basically find out what was he doing after I heard reports that he had been let go by Ajax.
"And that was as far as it went. I haven't contacted him further. So we are just looking at all possibilities, we are looking at different players in terms of where we need to strengthen but there has been no follow up from the club.
"The fact is Arrows have lost almost 10 players. We had nine players or so on loan last season at Golden Arrows and they have all returned to their clubs."
