Larsen: I trust Ncikazi

Cape Town - New Golden Arrows boss Clinton Larsen has revealed that he chose Mandla Ncikazi as his assistant coach due to their good mutual understanding.

Larsen and Serame Letsoaka swapped jobs last week when the former left Bloemfontein Celtic and the latter resigned from Arrows.

Larsen roped in Ncikazi three months after he was fired from his job as head coach at Maritzburg United.

"I decided to bring Mandla Ncikazi to be next to me because he is someone I trust," Larsen told KickOff.

"He has been here before and worked with Manqoba Mngqithi. He is an astute coach and I am very happy to work with him. My ambition is to improve the club.

"We have to improve in all departments and keep working hard. I know much about the team.

"As coaches we always study the opposition teams, we know every team and every player. Nothing new and I am familiar with Golden Arrows."

The coaching duo will take charge of their first match against Polokwane City on December 19.
