Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns defender Tebogo Langerman is keen to see his team maintain their 13-game unbeaten run in the Absa Premiership.
Sundowns intend to extend their streak which in the first-half of the season yielded the Telkom Knockout title.
The Brazilians will continue to make their title push against University of Pretoria at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday.
"We obviously want to keep this record intact and we are motivated that we have gone this long without defeat," Langerman told KickOff.
"It does help us because we don’t want to lose a match. We went 13 games without losing so we want to keep that record and I hope that Saturday we can win and get three points instead of a point.
"We want all three points this weekend instead of one. Actually, we do want to protect it until the end of the season as our aim is to win all trophies available to play for.
"It will obviously not be an easy game. Tuks will be tight at the back and both teams need points. For us it is the same approach because they are second from bottom and we are second from the top."
