Kutumela: I will score goals for Pirates

Cape Town - New Orlando Pirates striker Thabiso Kutumela has set his sights on making his mark at the Mayfair-based outfit.

Kutumela joined Pirates after guiding Baroka FC to Premiership promotion after winning the NFD.

With 18 goals in the previous campaign, Kutumela scored the most goals of any footballer in South Africa's top two divisions.

"I am so excited for next season. I have been working hard. This is what I wanted to achieve. Thanks to my teammates at Baroka and my coach [Kgoloko Thobejane]," Kutumela told Goal.

"I am going to the bigger stage next season so I have to focus. If I get a chance to play I will prove myself the way I proved myself in the NFD this past season.

"I want to win cups with Orlando Pirates and get goals. I know it is difficult to score in the Premiership, but if I get a chance to play I will score goals for Pirates."
