Cape Town - New Orlando Pirates striker Thabiso Kutumela admits he has been encouraged by his teammates at the Soweto club.
Kutumela joined the Buccaneers at the end of last season after leading Baroka FC to Premiership promotion.
The marksman topped the scoring charts in the NFD last season with 18 goals.
"They are all good players, my man. What I have to do is to be patient and, if I get my chance to play, I must use it," Kutumela told Soccer Laduma.
"Gift Motupa and Menzi Masuku gave me a lot of advice when we were with the national team. They told me to do what I have been doing and that I must be strong.
"It's a new challenge for me and I need to take it on."
