Krmpotic keen on Celtic job

Cape Town - TP Mazembe assistant coach Zlatko Krmpotic is reportedly interested in filling the managerial vacancy at Absa Premiership club Bloemfontein Celtic.

Siwelele are in the market for a new head coach after Clinton Larsen tendered his resignation following his side's 2-0 defeat to Mpumalanga Black Aces at the weekend.

Krmpotic joined the Congolese club's coaching staff during the off-season and helped them to the 2015 CAF Champions League title earlier this month.

The 57-year-old Serb has managed OFK Beograd and FK Obilic in his homeland, while he's also worked in Turkey, Kazakhstan and Kuwait.

Meanwhile, Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco has revealed that a number of local and foreign "top-class coaches" have forwarded their CV's onto the Free State outfit.
