Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela seems to be losing his patience as he questions how many times will they need to learn from the same mistakes.
Mpumalanga Black Aces denied the Naturena club their first victory in five games after scoring in extra-time at the Mbombela Stadium to secure a 2-2 draw.
Amakhosi captain Siphiwe Tshabalala scored a bizarre opener after floating a cross towards a surging Bernard Parker only for Jackson Mabokgwane and the striker to clash leaving the ball bounce in the back of the net.
Bongolethu Jayiya levelled matters early in the second-half while Willard Katsande made it 2-1 with a deflected drive.
However, Mushin Ertugral's charges broke on a quick counter attack and capitalised on a Daniel Cardoso error. Zamuxolo Ngalo secured a point for the hosts with his pinpoint finish.
"You work hard on these things, and you just have to accept fate," Komphela said as quoted by KickOff.
"There are certain things that go slightly beyond your level of understanding.
"We play unbelievable football and then we suffer these setbacks. We ask ‘how many times do we need to learn these lessons?’”
