Klate: I'm there for the team

Cape Town - Bidvest Wits' two-goal hero Daine Klate diverted praise to his team-mates after their come-from-behind victory over Golden Arrows on Saturday afternoon.

The Students twice rallied from a goal down at the Bidvest Stadium to snatch a 3-2 victory against a feisty Arrows, with Klate scoring the second equaliser on 85 minutes before firing home the winner less than 60 seconds later.

But former Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United striker Klate preferred to focus on his side's collective effort, and for backing him up through what was largely a disappointing first hour of the match.

"It was a good team performance once again, going down first and then coming back and winning the game," Klate said after the game.

"For about 70 minutes I was out of the game, but you keep focus... it's going to come. One bit of magic, one free-kick… I'm there for the team.

"I scored the free-kick and the next goal came immediately after that, so well done to the team. It was a big team performance and good for us to come back like that."
