Cape Town - Kaizer
Chiefs goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo has posted a cryptic message on
social media that has fans worried he may be on the lookout for a new
club.
Khuzwayo, 27, a senior South Africa international, has been patiently playing second fiddle to Bafana Bafana number one shot-stopper Itumeleng Khune - who is arguably one of the finest goalkeepers the country has ever produced.
With the challenge of being a backup option for the past five years since arriving from AmaZulu, it appears Khuzwayo is ready to leave in search of a more prominent role.
Taking a leaf from George Lebese's book prior to departing Naturena, the towering shot-stopper posted the following on his official Twitter account: "Sometimes hard work isn't enough when you don't fit in the picture frame."
A similar message to the, 'All I wanna do is to play football regardless of what color t-shirt I have on' posted by his former team-mate before joining Mamelodi Sundowns.
Cape Town City have reportedly expressed their interest in the three-timed capped Bafana goalkeeper, who's been restricted to just 29 Premiership appearances during his career.
