Khoza confirms Carnell's departure

Cape Town - Bradley Carnell has left his post as Orlando Pirates assistant coach, club chairperson Irvin Khoza has revealed.

The former Bafana Bafana defender was part of Muhsin Ertugral's technical team at the start of the 2016/17 season.

The 40-year-old took to Twitter to confirm and thank the club for his "amazing experience" during his short tenure.

"Thank you to the team and it's staff for the amazing experience being part of this fantastic club @Orlando_Pirates thank you Mr Chairman," said Carnell.

At a press conference held in Johannesburg, Khoza also announced Swedish coach Kjell Jonevret as the club's new mentor.

Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates will face Polokwane City on Saturday, February 25 in an Absa Premiership clash.

Kick off is at 15:30.
