Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns star midfielder Keagan Dolly has reportedly turned down an offer to join Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
According to a report in KingFut, the 23-year-old said no to a move to the Club of the Century after they made a bid to gain his services.
The Bafana Bafana international played a leading role in helping Sundowns win the CAF Champions League, and has also been influential in his side's dominance in the Premiership under Pitso Mosimane.
The publication said: "Al Ahly have today contacted Sundowns and the player's representative over a move to the Red Devils next month.
"KingFut can confirm Dolly, who is shortlisted for African player of the year award (Based in Africa), is not interested in Al Ahly's proposal as he has only set his sights on a move to Europe."
Dolly is said to be subject to serious interest from Greek giants Olympiacos, who are said to be willing to match the buyout clause in his contract.
Al Ahly had reportedly also made an earlier bid for Khama Billiat although both parties were unable to agree on a price tag.
