Katsande pleased with form

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande has rediscovered his form and this has seen him winning back-to-back man of the match awards.

The awards came in Chiefs' 2-0 victory against Golden Arrows on Tuesday and in the 1-1 draw with Orlando Pirates in the Soweto derby on Saturday.

"Like I said in the previous game, it all comes with experience and determination. The credit must go to the entire team who worked so hard." said Katsande.

"It was a difficult game. The first half we dominated, the second half they threw everything at us to try to get that goal.

"We created chances out of pressure, we should have killed the game on one or two chances, but it's a game of football. Thank God we managed to get the second goal."

Katsande will be hoping his form can continue and he can help Chiefs push for the Premiership title.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
