Katsande enjoying advanced role

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande believes that he has matured as a player since joining the Soweto giants four years ago.

Katsande has been playing the role of defensive midfielder in the side but recently has been more comfortable in advanced positions.

The Zimbabwean was on the score-sheet in the 1-1 Soweto derby draw against Orlando Pirates on Saturday.

"I think it goes with maturity and technical ability with the explanation from the technical team," Katsande told Soccer Laduma.

"I think I am improving my game every time I am playing. I am more mature now than I was when I joined the team and that's why I cannot just score, but also dribble and pass the ball.

"It's comes with maturity and I am matured now."
