Cape Town - Bidvest Wits goalkeeper Moeneeb Josephs feels teammate Daine Klate has been unfairly left out of the national team, despite his consistency over the years.
Klate scooped Wits' Player of the Season and the Golden Boot at the club's end of the season Awards, after netting 12 goals in all competitions for the Clever Boys.
The Port Elizabeth-born attacker has managed to make just 13 Bafana Bafana appearances, since making his professional debut in 2005, a situation Josephs feels in unjust.
"Daine’s been unlucky for the past 10 years, even with the national team," Josephs told KickOff.
"He’s been the only winger really doing the business, but unfortunately he’s playing on the wrong side where the coaches aren’t sitting.
"Daine’s been a seasoned pro - week in, week out for years, not for months - and how he could not be in the national team, I still can’t understand.
"Why not change some of the tactics to get someone like him in the team; one of the best players that’s been playing well year after year?"
