Jonevret: I haven't seen enough of Chiefs

Cape Town - New Orlando Pirates head coach Kjell Jonevret revealed that he does not know much about Kaizer Chiefs ahead of the Soweto derby.

After nearly four months without a head coach, Pirates unveiled the Swedish mentor last week ahead of their Premiership clash against Polokwane City.

Jonevret's work permit was approved ahead of the match and the coach was in the Buccaneers technical area as they succumb to a 1-1 at Orlando Stadium.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi were held to draw as well against Ajax Cape Town by the same deficit.

The two sides clash this weekend at the FNB Stadium and Jonevret is not worried about the amount of knowledge he knows about Pirates arch-rivals.

"No, I haven't seen enough of Chiefs, “Jonevret said as quoted by the SowetanLIVE.

“I saw the derby when they broadcast it on Swedish television last year. I think I have a lot of time this week and we have a good team of analysts,"

"But we are also going to take a lot of time to see what we did (against Polokwane) and maybe what we can do better against Chiefs."

Kick off for the much anticipated match is at 15:30.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
