Cape Town - Orlando Pirates have had a difficult season, but coach Kjell Jonevret is looking on the bright side of things.
The coach will be forgiven for being so upbeat about the end of the season as his charges still stand a chance of ending the campaign with some silverware in the cabinet.
Pirates face Golden Arrows in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup on May 21.
And, the coach was also hopeful that they will meet their target of getting into the top eight, something that didn't look like a possibility at the beginning of the year.
The Buccaneers are in a tussle for a place in the top eight with Ajax Cape Town and Golden Arrows. And, it's Abafana Bes'thende who also stand between them and a place in the Nedbank Cup.
"We have the ambition to get into the top eight," Jonevret reiterated to the SowetanLIVE website.
"Maybe our focus is a little on the cup, even if we are not talking about it.
"But for me, the attention is on the next game against Ajax and we really have to win our last two games.
"The supporters are all talking about the Nedbank Cup. Whenever I'm stopped, that is what they want to know about," the Swede added.
"But, it is important to try and win our last two games in the league."
