Cape Town - Orlando Pirates defender Happy Jele intends to keep fit during the off-season with the hopes of more success next term.
The Buccaneers will be looking for improvements in 2016/17 after losing both the CAF Confederation Cup and Nedbank Cup finals.
Pirates have already announced the appointment of Muhsin Ertugral as their new coach to replace Eric Tinkler, who has since taken over the reins at Black Aces.
"I have a programme that we get from the club. You cannot go without training because it's going to be difficult when pre-season starts," Jele told The Sowetan.
"It's not easy, but as a professional player you have to discipline yourself because you have to do the right thing.
"If they say train once a day, then you should train once a day. If they say go to the gym, you go to the gym.
"We have to sacrifice because this is the life we chose. If you cannot take care of yourself, then that's a problem."
