Jele encourages PSL rivals

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele has offered Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns some advice as they prepare for continental action next year.

The Buccaneers came within a whisker of securing a second gold star this year but suffered defeat against Etoile du Sahel in the CAF Confederation Cup final.

Chiefs and Sundowns will now be preparing for their own African adventure as the sides are set to enter the 2016 CAF Champions League, and Jele has offered some words of wisdom as they look to fly high the South African flag.

"What I can say is that they have to be mentally strong because some of the places are much tougher and the travelling is so taxing," Jele told Soccer Laduma.

"It's about team spirit as well. They have to support each other at all times as it is tough playing in Africa.

"We have done our part; now it's up to them to go and do their part, represent South Africa and make the country proud."
