Cape Town - Baroka FC overcame Stellenbosch 2-0 in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) play-off match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Saturday afternoon.
As a result, Bakgaga remain at the top of the play-offs table with seven points, while Stellenbosch also remain second with two points.
It took only two minutes for Dineo Shaku to make it 1-0 to Baroka when he headed home Richard Matloga's free-kick.
Baroka's Botswana inetrnational Mpho Kgaswane was looking lively for the home side in the final third.
The tricky winger was fouled by Stellenbosch midfielder Manti Mekoa in the 24th minute and latter received the first yellow card of the game.
Mduduzi Mdatsane, the Baroka midfielder, tried to double his side's lead on the stroke of half-time.
However, Stellenbosch goalkeeper Washington Arubi denied him and the score was 1-0 to Baroka during the half-time break.
Bakgaga had a chance to score from a free-kick three minutes into the second-half, but Victor Letsoalo fired the set-piece over the crossbar.
Jamie Webber, Stellenbosch's attacking midfielder, was introduced in the 65th minute as the visitors looked to level matters.
However, Mdantsane sealed Baroka's 2-0 win in the 83rd minute when he scored with his left foot with Victor Letsoalo grabbing an assist.
