I haven't signed a new contract - Pieterse

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse is still pondering his next move, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.

Pieterse was weighing his options after struggling for game-time at Chiefs where he competes for the number 1 jersey with Itumeleng Khune and Brilliant Khuzwayo.

The 23-year-old has seen his stock rise after some superb performances when called upon at the Soweto club in the past two seasons.

"I haven't signed a new contract but I just want to enjoy my time here. If something better comes about from overseas, then I am willing to consider it," Pieterse told Soccer Laduma.

"But for now I am a Kaizer Chiefs player and that's what I want to concentrate on. I am not in any hurry to sign and at the same time I am happy to be here at Chiefs.

"I am at home here, so if no overseas move comes through then I would rather be here than anywhere else."
