Hunt: We totally outplayed Chiefs

Cape Town – Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt could not see how his side ended up on the losing end of things against Kaizer Chiefs in their Absa Premiership encounter.

A George Maluleka stunner ensured Amakhosi are back in for PSL title credentials after a gruelling 97-minute tie at Bidvest stadium.

According to KickOff, Hunt believes his side should’ve easily won the encounter after not being awarded, in what he calls a “blatant penalty”.

"It was an embarrassment wasn't it? We totally outplayed them, both games we don't get the penalty. Blatant penalty again, we haven't got one this year.

"So, they never even came into our half I don't think. Did they come into our half? I don't know. I would love to see the stats.

"But at the end of the day they got the three points, you have got to say to them... well done. But at the end of the day there was only one side in it here. We played front-foot football, really good football. There were so many entries into the box. Every time the ball went into the box the referee blew, so there's no continuity in the play, I don't know for what.
