Hunt unimpressed despite win

Cape Town - Wits coach Gavin Hunt was not altogether pleased with his team's performance in the 3-0 victory over Cape Town City on Saturday in the MTN8 semi-final first leg.

Despite thrashing the Premiership newcomers, Hunt wants the Clever Boys to put on a more convincing showing against Polokwane City on Tuesday.

"Disappointed, really, I mean we were poor, it wasn't good. We can see that two weeks certainly affected us, a lot of players were away and came back a little bit sluggish," he told SuperSport.

"We were a yard off the pace, we looked like we needed a gallop so we got one tonight and hopefully we'll be better on Tuesday. Yeah, we got three (goals) but we really dropped out and it wasn't good but we move on, go to the next game.

"You look all around the world and it's the same story after the international break, and I was worried about the game tonight in terms of the performance and we never got it. But we got the result, and as I said we'll move on."
