Hunt to make squad adjustments

Cape Town - Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt reveals that he will have to juggle his squad in order to cater for the CAF Confederation Cup next year.

Wits' third place finish in the PSL during the 2014/15 campaign earned them a CAF spot.

According to the club’s official website, the Clever Boys are set to travel to the Seychells for the first-leg on the weekend of 12-14 February.

“We play against Kaizer Chiefs on Tuesday 9th of February 2016, and then the first-leg of CAF is on the weekend of the 12th-14th,” Hunt said.

“We will have to leave some players behind and there won’t be any fatigue involved as the players who play on Tuesday won’t be playing over the weekend.

“I don’t know anything about the team we are playing against. I will figure them out in the first 5 minutes.

“Being in the Confederations Cup for the second year in a row, shows that the club is going in the right direction. We will take it game by game.

“This Cup will make us stronger as a team, because the whole squad will get an opportunity to play.”
