Cape Town - Despite Bidvest Wits netting the most goals the in Absa Premiership, coach Gavin Hunt remains to be unsatisfied with his side’s performances.
The Students recently put five goals past Polokwane City while at the same time keeping a clean sheet.
According to KickOff, Hunt says that there is certainly room for improvement as they look to regain top spot.
“I’m still not happy about the team’s performance, there’s no ways I’m happy ... we need to improve,” he said.
“We need to improve off-the-ball; we need to improve our shape - I changed it [against Polokwane City] because of the way they play; but we have to be better.
“Teams are coming through us far too easily, and that’s what has happened in our last couple of games, so we also need to defend in better areas.
"We are far too stretched as a team, because we give the ball away in bad areas.”
This weekend Wits travel to the Free State and take on Bloemfontein Celtic in an PSL encounter.
Kick-off is at 15:30 on Sunday, January 31.
