Cape Town - Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt has issued a warning to Kaizer Chiefs by advising the title-chasers that his side have the capability to beat any team in the Absa Premiership.
The reigning PSL champions have endured a torrid season although recent form suggests they are in the process of a full recovery. The Clever Boys have won three of their last four league matches and have risen to 13th in the standings.
Meanwhile, the Glamour Boys are also in some inspired form having not lost in 2018 while holding on to third spot in the table. With Amakhosi having to make up a five-point gap on leaders Mamelodi Sundowns - it appears Saturday's league clash against Wits could be pivotal.
Nonetheless, Hunt has made it clear it won't be easy for the visitors at the BidVest Stadium in Johannesburg this weekend. He told the Sowetan: "One thing is for sure‚ we'll determine who wins the league because we still have to play all these teams.
"We might not do it but we've got the capacity to beat everybody. You can't expect to win every game and the top team isn't dominating every game.
"So this league is very close in terms of top to bottom. It doesn't make me feel better because we can't win the league.
"We're too far away unless we win 11 games. We still have to play everybody. Like most teams‚ we've got the capacity to beat everyone anywhere. It's going to be tight if it goes to the wire because there's no consistency."
Kick-off is at 18:00.
