Cape Town - Struggling PSL side Highlands Park are said to be eyeing up Free State Stars striker Moeketsi Sekola.
The Lions of the North, in their first season since promotion, are second from bottom on the standings after 15 games.
To make matters worse, their main striker Collins Mbesuma is currently out injured after undergoing surgery and is only expected back in a couple of months.
According to KickOff, a 'source close to the player' has revealed that there is a possibility of the Sekola transfer happening in January.
"The deal could go on now during this transfer window period or at the end of the season," claimed the source.
The 27-year-old Sekola was the PSL's leading scorer in the 2014/15 season when he netted 14 league goals.
But injuries has slowed his progress last season as he scored only twice in 16 matches, while this season he is yet to find the net in 14 league starts and one substitute appearance.
