Cape Town - New
Chippa United head coach Vladislav Heric has revealed that he will look
to play an attacking brand of football during his time at the club.
Heric replaced Teboho Moloi on Monday for his second spell at the club. The Serbian helped the Chilli Boys win promotion to the Absa Premiership in the 2013/14 season, when he was at the club for six months.
In an interview with Chippa, Heric talked about his football philosophy and his first game in charge against Free State Stars in the Nedbank Cup last-16 on Saturday.
"My football is attacking football and aggressive defending, I never changed my philosophy. I will need to look at the profile of the players we have and I believe this is a strongest squad Chippa United has assembled since the club's inception," he told the club's official website.
"I am willing to work with the Technical Team and everyone at the Club to bring the best out of the players. I will be getting as much information before our next game."
On the Free State Stars clash, he added: "It is a very strong opponent, difficult game but we believe it is not impossible to beat them and proceed to the next round in the competition. We will try our best to win the game on Saturday.
"I am still busy trying to sort out my papers but all the systems are in place to make sure that we prepare well for the game."
