Graham wants out at Ajax

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town have suffered a huge blow with the news that captain Travis Graham wants to leave the Premiership outfit before the new season.

With star defender Rivaldo Coetzee having gone AWOL to force a move away from the Urban Warriors, the prospect of Graham's exit may come as a bitter pill to swallow for head coach Stanley Menzo.

Nonetheless, the long-serving midfielder has proposed a more professional manner to depart from the Cape Town based side he joined as a nine-year old.

"My intentions are to move on but for now I’m not saying much," the 24-year-old academy graduate told KickOff website.

"I'm coming to training as per normal. I have massive respect for the club and everyone here. The last thing I want to do is to burn bridges with them. Things will be done amicably."

Graham has featured 103 times for Ajax since making his first-team debut in 2012.
