Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs defender Lorenzo Gordinho said he was generally satisfied with his team's performance in their goalless draw against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.
Gordinho was awarded the Man-of-the-Match after keeping the high-flying Brazilians at bay in the encounter at the FNB Stadium on this weekend.
Together with partner Eric Mathoho, Gordinho ensured there was no repeat of the 3-1 humiliation in the Telkom Knockout final, although the defender was also slightly frustrated not to have taken more from Saturday's clash.
"We knew as a team we were disappointed with that loss to Sundowns," Gordinho told Soccer Laduma.
"I know we didn't win and we normally don't celebrate a draw but it's a point and we need it for the league.
"We knew that they were going to use their speed and we have to monitor the space behind us, and I think we did that perfectly.
"I think it's a fair result for both teams. But it was very frustrating not to get a goal. We wanted the three points to catch up but I think we'll get there."
