Durban - Kaizer Chiefs' Lorenzo Gordinho said it was "all about team work" when Amakhosi defeated struggling Ajax Cape Town 2-0 last Saturday.
The Benoni-born hard tackling defender was on target along with George Lebese as the Phefeni Glamour Boys piled more misery on the Urban Warriors in their Absa Premiership clash at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
It was the Amakhosi's fourth consecutive league triumph as they reclaimed their spot at the log summit.
“We had a great game and everything went according to our game plan,” said Gordinho.
“We really fought for one another throughout the game and we came up with a great win.
“It is all about working as a team at the end of the day and with my goal I can just say I was at the right place at the right time.
“We also practice that at training and it was my day once again and I’m glad I contributed once again to the team success.”
Chiefs will now switch focus to their Telkom Knockout last 16 clash against Maritzburg United on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 20:15.
