Gaxa: Chiefs prepared for TKO

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs defender Siboniso Gaxa is confident that his team has covered all the bases in their preparations for their Telkom Knockout final showdown against Mamelodi Sundowns.

The defending Premiership champions face their old enemy in the cup final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday.

Gaxa believes Chiefs have done enough in the run-up to the clash to stand a good chance of securing victory and avoiding another final loss after falling short of the MTN8 title.

"We are ready for the finals. I think we have prepared well enough to go into the final and make sure that we win," Gaxa told Soccer Laduma.

"We have been busy throughout the break having taken part in training as well as friendlies. We know what we are expected to do on Wednesday.

"We have to play our normal game and make sure we win."
