Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they travel to the Mbombela Stadium on Tuesday evening to face Mpumalanga Black Aces.
Ahead of the Premiership clash Aces boss Mushin Erturgal backed his under-fire counterpart Steve Komphela claiming he needs more time at Chiefs as the two sides prepare to lock horns.
"Steve is a good coach, there is no doubt about that. He has his own way of thinking and perspective and he is trying to implement that," Ertugral said in the pre-match interview.
"He was my assistant. I know him very well, not only from a coaching prospective, also privately. He will do very well as long as he is given the opportunity."
Both sides come into the fixture on a dismal run of form with Amakhosi winless and without a goal in their last five competitive fixtures. Amazayoni's league title ambitions have also faltered recently after going seven games without a win in the Premiership - dropping from second place to fifth.
Steve Komphela will be without Siboniso Gaxa who's nursing a knee problem while Reneilwe Letsholonyane won't be fit to play after recently returning from a long-term spell on the sidelines.
Aces have no new injury concerns as Lebogang Manyama is the only casualty after breaking his foot in February. Goalkeepers Bafana Nhlapo and Shu-Aib Walters are fit to return to action but Jackson Mabokgwane is likely to retain the gloves.
A win for the Glamour Boys could see them move within one point of third place Platinum Stars while a win for the home side could add pressure onto the shoulders of Komphela as Aces would leapfrog them into fourth.
