Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Muhsin Ertugral believes that Thabiso Kutumela can bring goals and scoring opportunities to his team if he can get fully fit.
The talented forward netted his first goal for Bucs in a recent 1-1 draw in a Premiership clash against Platinum Stars.
Kutumela is highly-rated after making his name in the National First Division last season with Baroka. The 23-year-old hit 18 goals for Bakgaga as the side from Limpopo gained promotion to the top-flight.
Such were his talents, at least five Premiership clubs were said to be after his services until the Bucs won the race for his signature.
Nonetheless, Ertugral has explained why he feels the South Africa Under 23 star can give Pirates an edge in attack.
The Turkish mentor told reporters, "He brings a lot of scoring opportunities, he just needs some more games. He is not fit, he was injured.
"I don't think, in this point in time, he can last in a game for 30 minutes. The last time he had cramps at training and he is not 100% fit yet."
The forward will have plenty to have time to reach full fitness as Pirates' next game is only on 16 October against Polokwane City following the international break.
