Cape Town - Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Ted Dumitru feels the market is very average for the club to find a special player that would contribute to their success.
Amakhosi have been forced to regroup and start planning for next season following their dismal 2015/16 Premiership campaign, as they failed to defend their league and MTN 8 titles and were eliminated in the elementary rounds of CAF Champions League.
"When you talk about Chiefs, you are talking about a very kind of special player that can match the requirements of Chiefs," Dumitru told Goal website.
"Now the market is very, very average because they don’t develop those high standard young players.
"So how do you expect the team to improve match expectations if their quality of players they bring in is not of a particular level?"
