‘Downs have qualities - Zungu

Durban - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bongani Zungu believes that the Brazilians have plenty of match winners in every department, heading to their much anticipated Telkom Knockout clash against Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday.

Kick-off is scheduled for 18:00.

The Amakhosi and the Brazilians will lock horns in the final of the R14m competition at the Moses Mabhida stadium.

“Ben 10” is optimistic that the qualities within the Brazilians camp will come handy against their bitter rivals at the end of the day.

“We have a lot of qualities all round in the team.” said Zungu

“One thing I realised about our team this season is that all players have the ability to score goals, especially in this competition.

“We have defenders who can score goals from set pieces, midfielders who shoot from range and also we have quality strikers.

“We have a lot of qualities in the team and that will count a lot heading to the final.”

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
