Cape Town - Chippa United striker Rhulani Manzini feels he is capable of hitting at least 10 goals for the Port Elizabeth-based club this season.
The 28-year-old missed the last five matches of the 2015/ 16 season with a broken metatarsal, but is raring to go for the new season.
"I am ready and together with my teammates we are raring to go. The mood in the camp is high," Manzini told the club's website.
"I struggled a bit when we came back for the pre-season but now I have fully recovered and happy with my level of fitness.
"I scored four goals last season and this season I want to reach double figures and with the help of my teammates and technical team this is possible."
The Mpumalanga-born marksman feels that the pre-season workout has been a successful one and is positive about the new season.
"The camp was very important for our preparations for the season," he explained. "We had lot of players coming in and it was important to know everyone at both social [level] and on the playing field.
"It was also the first time for us to go to pre-season with coach Dan (Malesela) who told us about what is expected from each and every one of us this coming season.
"We are already aware that it is not going to be a tough season due to the way we finished last season. We need to double our efforts on the pitch and continue making our fans proud," the former Platinum Stars player concluded.
