Double boost for Baroka

Cape Town - PSL newcomers Baroka FC were handed a boost to their squad after Geofrey Massa and Aucho Khalid received their South African work permits.

The Ugandan duo are yet to feature for the Limpopo club this season and in their absence the team has managed to score only four goals in five matches.

But according to club CEO Morgan Mammila, the pair will be available for selection by head coach Kgoloko Thobejane for the next game - away to Cape Town City on October 15.

"Massa and Aucho are both ready to play for the team now as they both received their papers last week," he told Kick Off.

"We applied late for their work permits because they were both in their national team last month," Mammila added.

Baroka are 12th on the standings, with on win and three defeats from their first five league matches.
