Dolly's Montpellier move off? Sundowns want 'genuine' offer

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns released a statement, inviting more club's to make a 'genuine' offer for Keagan Dolly services.

"Mamelodi Sundowns will engage and cooperate with any Club that submits a genuine offer for Keagan Dolly to go and play overseas," the statement read.

"This is the instruction that the President, Patrice Motsepe gave us and we are committed to implementing it. We have nothing at this stage to add to the media release we made on Saturday."

Sport24 reported Dolly’s transfer to Montpellier is “almost sorted”, according to one of the agents involved in the negotiations.

On the same day, it was revealed Dolly has reportedly bid farewell to his team-mates and the Sundowns staff ahead of his move to in France.

The statement gives off the idea that the club are looking to milk the Dolly transfer situation despite Montpellier tabling a €1.7m (R25m) offer.

The 23-year-olds buyout clause was amended from €750 000 to €1.5m.
