Dikwena gives defender time off

Cape Town - Platinum Stars defender Thabiso Semenya was involved in an horrific car accident and his wife died on the scene.

The 33-year old was allegedly on his way to the Royal Bafokeng Stadium with his wife to support Dikwena when the crash occurred.

According to KickOff, Cavin Johnson reveals that everyone at Dikwena will give him all the "support" he needs in his "darkest hour".

"The whole team is with Thabiso during this darkest hour and we will try our best to give him all the support he needs," said the Dikwena coach.

"Our deepest condolences goes to his family and we trust God will help them going through this tragedy."
