Allie signed for the Clever Boys in a two-year deal - with an option to extend - from Ajax Cape Town in June 2015.

The 33-year-old lifted the Absa Premiership title along with the MTN8 and Telkom Knockout trophies during his time at Sturrock Park.

The former Bafana Bafana international - who still is one of the best defenders in the league - has been spotted training with Maritzburg United and looks set to secure a move to Pietermaritzburg.

Wits decided against extending Allie's stay at the club with former Platinum Stars defender Vuyo Mere spotted training with the club and Robyn Johannes already on the books from Cape Town City.
