De Sa reveals training plans

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town coach Roger De Sa has revealed that he will alter his side's training sessions in the upcoming break from Absa Premiership action.

The Urban Warriors are facing a wait of over three weeks for their next fixture, with the Premiership on a hiatus due to the South African U23 side taking part in the U23 African Cup of Nations in Senegal.

As such, De Sa says he will be mixing things up in his training sessions in the coming weeks in a bid to keep his players motivated in a period devoid of competitive action.

"We will take the team for some hiking at Table Mountain, we'll do some mountain biking and we have a whole lot of CSI projects coming up where we will go into communities and help them where we can," De Sa told the club's official website.

"It's important for the team to open up their minds and see how fortunate they are, they can make a real impact in these communities as well."

Ajax will be represented by four players at the U23 tournament, with Rivaldo Coetzee, Abbubaker Mobara, Jody February and Riyaad Norodien set to do battle for a place in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
