Cape Town - SuperSport
United forward Thabo Mnyamane faces a month on the side-lines, but
central defender Clayton Daniels has been declared fully fit after being hit with severe cramp.
Mnyamane hurt himself and was immediately substituted after scoring the equalising goal in Saturday's MTN8 final against Cape Town City, which SuperSport went on to win on penalties.
Daniels meanwhile was badly affected by cramp, as were several other players on what was a very heavy and wet turf in Durban for Saturday's final.
The former Bafana Bafana skipper though had to soldier on for the entire 120 minutes as his coach Eric Tinkler had already made all three changes.
Tinkler however told a local publication on Wednesday that Daniels has fully recovered, but the news was not good for Mnyamane, who is expected to be out for a month with a groin strain.
Matsatsantsa are next in action this Sunday evening when they take on Club Africain in a CAF Confederation Cup semi-final second leg encounter in Tunisia, the tie currently locked at 1-1.
Kick off is at 15:00.
