CT City part ways with Australian Brown

Cape Town - Cape Town City have decided to part ways with Australian attacking midfielder, James Brown.

The club confirmed the news on Tuesday via their Twitter account, saying:

"We can confirm that James Brown has been released from Cape Town City FC.

"We wish James Brown all of the best with his future."

The 26-year-old had a wealth of experience having featured for the junior Australian national teams from Under-17 to Under-23 levels.

According to Soccer Laduma, the foreign signing had a hard time adjusting to the football lifestyle in South Africa.

Brown made three starts for Cape Town City this season following his arrival in August.
