Coetzee back for Sundowns clash

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town central defender Rivaldo Coetzee is likely to return to action in his side's showdown with Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday night.

Coetzee has missed the Urban Warriors' last few games after injuring himself while playing for Bafana Bafana in the 2-1 World Cup qualifying win over Senegal three weeks back.

But his club coach, Stanley Menzo, says Coetzee as well as veteran striker Nathan Paulse are back in the mix for the game at the Cape Town Stadium against champions Sundowns.

"Rivaldo is fully fit – I asked him this [Wednesday] morning, and he said he's fully fit to play the 90 minutes," Menzo told the club's official website.

"Nathan is back in the squad and with the A-team. There are no suspensions, so at this moment, we have the best 18 in the squad to select from, and it's up to the first eleven to try do the job and make a good result possible."

The Cape side got their first win of the season - in their 10th game, when they beat Platinum Stars 3-2 last week.
