Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town have been boosted by the return of defensive duo Rivaldo Coetzee and Mosa Lebusa from injury for their Premiership tie against Free State Stars on Friday.
The Urban Warriors head of medical Jantho Greyling confirmed the news as well as the unavailability of forward Tashreeq Morris, in addition to saying that Ndiviwe Mdabuka and Nathan Paulse face late fitness tests for the encounter at Athlone Stadium
"Tashreeq Morris has a chronic osteitis pubis injury," he told the club's official website.
"He will probably still be out for another week or two as it is struggling to settle down so unfortunately, he is struggling with that injury.
"Mdabuka, picked up an injury in our game vs SuperSport United. where he injured his medial collateral ligament (MCL) of his knee.
"He hasn’t been training with the team yet so he is a bit of a 50-50 call for Friday’s game.
"Nathan picked up a mild hamstring strain over the weekend against KwaDukuza United so we are racing against time to get him ready for Friday’s game.
"Rivaldo has recovered from an ankle injury he picked up and he has been in training for the last couple of days.
"Mosa Lebusa is also back, he has been training for the past few days. He has recovered from the ankle injury he picked up in training before the SuperSport match, but he has been in training for the past few days and he is also fit to play," he concluded.
