Clever Boys renew Hlanti deal

Cape Town - Sifiso Hlanti's representative, Sizwe Ntshangase, has confirmed the Bidvest Wits defender has penned a new two-year deal at the club.

Having joined Wits on loan from AmaZulu during the second-half of the 2015/16 campaign, Hlanti impressed with his showings for Gavin Hunt's side to become one of the best defenders in the PSL.

At the end of that campaign, the Students handed the young star a new one-year deal with an option to extend for a further two seasons.

"Wits have exercised their two-year option on Sifiso Hlanti's contract. The player is happy and the club is happy," Ntshangase told Soccer Laduma website.

The 27-year-old is currently with Bafana Bafana in Nigeria for this weekend’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against the Super Eagles in Uyo.
