City are not after Ryan Bartman, says Tinkler

Cape Town - Cape Town City head coach Eric Tinkler has denied that the club is after Atlantic Nacional stand-out performer Ryan Bartman.

The Citizens have already lost the services of Australian Matt Sim and Latvian Renars Rode and need to bolster the team during the January transfer window.

According to KickOff, Bartman has been making a name for himself in the ABC Motsepe League.

However, Tinkler is reluctant to give any ideas if the newly-formed PSL side are looking to sign the player.

"I know the name but it's the first time I'm hearing about it (us being interested)," Tinkler says.

"No, we won't be signing him."
